9.3. Patron Credit

A credit can be kept in a patron account and later used to pay bills.

To create or add a credit, on the Bills screen, select the payment method, type in the amount, select Convert Change to Patron Credit box at the bottom, then click Apply Payment.

Change from payment can also be converted to credit.

To use patron credit to pay bills, select Patron Credit as the payment type.

If your library chooses not to use Patron Credit, you may turn it off through a library setting. See Chapter 49, Local Administration Menu for more information.
